The Mendiant Big from La Soufflerie is a unique, hand-blown glass jar, created with a nod to traditional French "mendiant" chocolate treats, which are topped with dried fruits and nuts. Originally crafted to hold festive sweets, this jar has since been reimagined as a versatile storage piece. Each Mendiant Big is crafted using recycled glass, showcasing both sustainability and artisanal craftsmanship.

At 14 cm wide and 20 cm tall, with a 2-liter capacity, this jar is ideal for storing anything from dried goods in the kitchen to trinkets in the living room. Its slightly irregular shape and texture reflect the handmade quality, giving each piece a distinct character. The recycled, transparent glass also features the subtle pontil mark left by the glassblower's cane, symbolizing its handmade origins and quality​.
